Hi!
Ok, I really want to post shit about things I've done and seen lately ( Ghostface, cooked ma first Turkey and some other randomness). But I have a couple of things I have to deal with. I'll be back shortly. And where the other two ladies are- I have no idea hopefully they're enjoying life and having a good time!

This has been a rough week....and it's not even over yet
I've been pretty absent from this space lately, for many reasons. My life is sort of all messed up right now and I'm just trying to wrap ma head around it.
So my bike got fucked up and I'm running on so many deadlines.
That don't really matter, I was hit by the news that 20yr old model Daul Kim committed suicide in her Paris apt last night.
Why do I care? Well mainly because she was a dark individual with an even darker blog and she questioned the barriers between Old school Korean values and Western "liberal" thoughts. She was the only Asian to my knowledge that looked dope in blond hair and she always pushed out fuckin amazing editorials. This is sadness for real.

Roald Dahl X Wes Anderson

Ok so Wes Anderson just released his first animated movie. I'm a big Anderson fan- I'm an even bigger Roald Dahl fan.
Dahl made my childhood, his stories took me places and left me enough room to push my own imagination further and further.
In 1st grade my teacher read his book "Witches" on Friday afternoons and I always walked home totally sketched out thinking that EVERYONE was a witch in "normal" peoples clothes, I mean especially if they wore gloves. Fuck can you picture me in the fall/winter time walking home, EVERY mofo was wearing gloves...shiiiet.
So beside "Witches" and "James and the Giant Peach", "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" is ma fave.
Wes Anderson did the tricky thing of adapting a great childrens book into a movie that is attracting all kinds of age groups.
So me and Emily decided to go yesterday, opening day, of course everything was sold out. Luckily I'm a quick thinker and a do:er, so I just bought a ticket for another movie and sneaked into "The Fantastic Mr. Fox".
It was just brilliantly executed and totally dope!. Smartly Anderson replaces straight cursing words with the term cuss-cussing-cussed.
Peep the movies website HERE.

Shepard Fairey for Levi's

Yesterday night, I went to check out the launch of the Shepard Fairey design collaboration Obey x Levi’s. For an hour, the main man stood in the middle of Times Square cutting and pasting some of his original art work, putting together a collage of past and present works. If you are a fan – go and see it. It is now hung outside of the Levi’s flagship store for another week.
